Throughout my life I've often pondered what happens to us when we die and if there is life after death. However, in the winter of 2005, my life took a unexpected turn and the questions, once mostly passive thoughts, became more pronounced and my interest turned to fascination. Because of my background in medicine, I searched out published literature on the subject by other medical professionals. This, in turn, led to discovering authors describing their first-hand experiences with death, NDEs and the afterlife. Below is a short bibliography of the most impactful books that I have used for research and referenced in my writing. This list is not exhaustive or all inclusive but for anyone wanting to explore the topic of death and the afterlife I highly recommend starting their journey with the books listed below.
